Summer 2017 update – more options for EPOS users

In time for the IJL show, we have introduced a few more updates to EPOS Till users

the latest version is v5.7.01. Just when you think you’ve covered all needs, users think of more – and we respond

  • changes to the Calendar to allow users to specify which user a Calendar entry refers to. The choice for all Activity Notes is to default to the logged in user, but this change allows for instances where David creates the Activity follow up, but user Sally needs to be aware of, or is responsible for, the Activity follow-up
  • an extra Calendar filter, to enable the full Calendar (or limited to Specials or repairs) to only show Activities relating to Sally
  • we have added the ability to jump from one Repair to any other open Repair for that Customer in two mouse clicks
  • any Repair user can attach any Repair image to an email, to be sent to a Repairer or the Customer
  • an extra icon appears on any Repair to let the user know that other open Repairs exist for that Customer
  • we have added the ability to jump from one Special to any other open Special for that Customer in two mouse clicks
  • an extra icon appears on any Special to let the user know that other open Specials exist for that Customer
  • there is a new window via the menu option View > Inbound Emails that shows all the recently received emails for Repairs and Specials. A user can filter the emails received between Repairs or Specials. The system will default to view only those emails received in the last 7 days
